Mr. Maziar Mireskandari began his medical journey at the University of Leeds, qualifying as a doctor in 1992. He moved to London in 1995 to start his specialised training in vascular surgery, a field that focuses on diseases of the vascular system, or arteries and veins. His dedication to improving patient care through research earned him a Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2006, recognising his significant contributions to the field.
Seeking to broaden his expertise, Mr. Mireskandari spent a year in Paris at the Henri Mondor Hospital, one of the top hospitals for vascular surgery. This experience further enriched his skills and understanding of complex vascular conditions. In 2007, he achieved a major professional milestone by becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS), a testament to his expertise and excellence in surgery.
